Amongst the Foxgloves Fox Counted Cross Stitch Kit by Bothy Threads XHD8
Stitch Amongst the Foxgloves, a counted cross stitch kit by Bothy Threads — a russet fox sits with its brush curled round among tall pink foxgloves.
A little stitcher's folklore: foxgloves are said to be 'folk's gloves', worn by fairies, who gave the flowers to foxes so they could creep silently into henhouses.
Why this kit: based on artwork by Hannah Dale of Wrendale Designs, it is stitched on Aida printed with Bothy Threads' exclusive speckled background.
Kit includes: 14-count Zweigart Aida printed with an exclusive speckled background, pre-sorted stranded cottons, needles and a clear stitch diagram and instructions. Stitches used: full cross stitches, occasional fractionals and back stitch. A frame is not included.
Stitch the fox and flowers in cross stitch from the centre of the chart, add fractionals where shown, then the whiskers and fur in back stitch.
Finished size: 26×26 cm (10.2×10.2 in). A classic Wrendale fox for a country-style room.
